Starting again with our linguistic modules

For the first time after the summer break, we were invited again to a class to present one of our linguistics modules. At the ALCE school in Rheinfelden, Sara and I talked about the diversity of the Spanish language in the world. First, we looked at the different Spanish-speaking countries and talked about the many contact languages in the Spanish-speaking world. Then, together with the students, we discussed selected differences between varieties in terms of pronunciation, lexicon, and grammar.

We now hope that we will soon be able to visit a high school in the Basel region again to work with a class with Schwerpunktfach Spanisch.
